Modern Day Snow White Tutorial

FOTD

My Snow White FOTD from Reddit back in December.

If Disney Princesses were a big part of your childhood like they were mine, you might take inspiration from this look.

Dark hair and red lips have always appealed to me and who can pull that off better than Snow White? :P

My favorite Disney Princess

Of course no one can just dress like a princess everyday so here is my take on a modern day Snow White.

 What I used:

  • Foundation: Revlon Colorstay Combo/Oily Skin Ivory 110
  • Concealer: Kat Von D Lock-it Foundation L44 (not a concealer)
  • Setting Powder: Makeup Forever HD Powder
  • Eye Primer: NYX HD High Definition Eye Shadow Base
  • Eyeshadow: BH 120 Palette 2nd Edition, e.l.f. Studio Master Makeup Collection
  • Pencil Eyeliner: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk 604, e.l.f. Brightening Eyeliner Black
  • Liquid Eyeliner: Loreal Paris Carbon Black Lineur Intense
  • Highlighter: Erno Laszlo Multi-Phase Highlighter For all skin types
  • Blush: Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color Strawberry Cream
  • Lip Balm: Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Spf 15
  • Lipstick: NYX Round Lipstick in Snow White
  • Mascara: Cover Girl Clump Crusher by Lash Blast

 Modern Day Snow White

Step 1)
Apply your Eye Primer.

Step 2)
Pat a shimmery White Eye Shadow all over your lid.

Step 3)
Use a Smudge Brush or your pinky finger to apply the White Shadow to your lower lash line.
Round out the Shadow around your eye. The rounder your eyes look, the better.

Step 4)
Apply a Light Brown to your crease and blend out to your brow.

Step 5)
Apply a Darker Brown to your crease. Give your crease a round look.

 Step 6)
Line your waterline and top lash line with a Black Pencil Eyeliner.

Step 7)
Highlight your brow bone with White. I used NYX's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

Step 8)
Create a wing on the outer corner of your eyes with a Black Liquid Eyeliner. Keep the wing short.

Step 9)
Apply a very Pink Blush on the apple of your cheeks. Use a Highlighter for the area under your eyes.

Step 10)
Moisturize your lips with a Lip Balm and apply a bold Red Lipstick. Finish off your look with your favorite Black Mascara!

Step 11)
If you'd like to go an extra mile:

A nice blue shirt and a red bow/ribbon for your hair will give you that distinct Snow White style.
